Activist, Artist, and Social Entrepreneur Daniel Dart came to prominence in the mid-2000’s as the founder & singer of world-renowned punk rock band Time Again. In 2011 he was sentenced to 6 years in prison, where he filed, and won an appeal reducing his sentence by two years. Shortly after being released Daniel launched DEC Artists: a social impact and entertainment firm aimed at changing the way people engage with world. Since it’s inception Daniel has created, produced, consulted on, and launched numerous national and global initiatives for some of the world’s largest organizations and celebrities. Among them are the Bezos Family Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, AFL-CIO, ACLU, Carlos Santana, Dolores Huerta, Tom Colicchio, the Duplass Brothers, and many more. His journey as a formerly incarcerated individual shows how vital second chances can be, and why he works so hard to provide them for all people, regardless of their past.
