GREGG SERVHEEN

Gregg is a 30+ year Idaho Department of Fish and Game veteran, where he currently serves as Wildlife Program Coordinator in the Department’s Boise Headquarters. Born in Massachusetts and educated as a wildlife biologist at the University of Massachusetts and Texas A&M University, Gregg has lived throughout Idaho serving the state in research, regional, and environmental staff biologist positions.

With expertise in habitat conservation, Gregg is currently responsible for directing the Department’s land acquisition program as well as evaluating the effects to wildlife related to transportation, energy, mining, and land use and negotiating mitigation agreements for their unavoidable impacts . A published scientist, Gregg is past President of the Idaho Chapter of the Wildlife Society and a founding Executive Committee member of the Idaho Coalition of Land Trusts.
