Lauren has served on the Boise City Council since January 2011 and was re-elected in 2015.
In January 2017, she was selected to serve as Council President by her fellow Council Members. Her focus on economic development, community justice, and conservation reflects her belief that sustainability and resiliency are necessary ingredients for a city’s long-term success.
Lauren received her BA with honors from Notre Dame and an MPA in environmental policy from Boise State University.
Lauren runs a small business, serves on the Dean’s Council for the School of Public Service at Boise State University and on the Board of Governors at the Andrus Center.
Lauren enjoys running or biking Boise’s trails and exploring Idaho’s beautiful backcountry with her husband Scott and children Madeleine and Aiden.
